Fair Use Policy

Last revised: 28 August, 2025

About this policy

Hi, we're S7SoftwareHub and welcome to our Fair Use Policy. This policy applies to all users of S7SoftwareHub Marketplace, S7SoftwareHub Labs, and any other S7SoftwareHub platforms or sites which reference this policy in their user terms (S7SoftwareHub Sites). It sets out some rules and guidelines in relation to your use of the S7SoftwareHub Sites, and the items, assets, and other content (including content created by you through our tools) on those sites (Content) that are available for you to download, generate, or use as part of your projects.

This policy, which supplements and forms part of the user terms for each of the S7SoftwareHub Sites, is designed to keep things fair for S7SoftwareHub and the talented and creative community of authors who make their items available on S7SoftwareHub Sites.

So what's not fair use?

You must only generate or download Content when you have the genuine intention to use it.

It is a breach of this policy and the user terms for each of the S7SoftwareHub Sites to generate or download Content that you do not intend to appropriately use, to use scripts or bots to mass generate or mass download Content, or to generate or download excessively high volumes of Content in a short amount of time. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • generating or downloading Content for fraudulent purposes, or

  • downloading Content in advance in order to use or “stockpile” it after your S7SoftwareHub subscription or right to

  • use the relevant S7SoftwareHub Site has ended.

Remember, on S7SoftwareHub Marketplace, your license to use an item only begins once the item is registered. The item may be registered for trial or project purposes, and you can only register items while you have an active subscription. If you want to use an item in multiple projects, you must register it again for each new project.

What will happen if a user engages in inappropriate, excessive, unusual, or unfair activities when downloading or generating Content?

In addition to our rights under the user terms for the S7SoftwareHub Sites, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict or terminate access to any S7SoftwareHub Site for any user (whether or not they are a subscriber) if S7SoftwareHub, at its sole discretion, has reason to believe that the user’s activities suggest inappropriate, excessive, unusual, or unfair use patterns in generating or downloading Content. This includes situations where we notice very high volumes of Content being generated or downloaded in a short period of time.

We may take such action immediately, without notice or liability, and without affecting any other remedies available to us.

Depending on the way you use the S7SoftwareHub Sites, you may have a genuine need to generate or download high volumes of Content. Any restrictions will be removed once we are satisfied that your activities do not constitute inappropriate, excessive, unusual, or unfair use.

To establish this, we may contact users to better understand their usage instead of (or in addition to) restricting access. If you have a legitimate need to generate or download large amounts of Content in a short time frame, we encourage you to contact us to provide proof of valid use. Doing so may help avoid triggering restrictions under this policy.

If we detect behavior which, in our sole discretion, suggests inappropriate, excessive, unusual, or unfair generation or downloading of Content, we may take action to protect S7SoftwareHub, our community, and our authors, including investigating potential breaches of this policy and/or the user terms of the applicable S7SoftwareHub Site.
